Sarah Mills graduates with BA(Hons) In 2005, Sarah Mills suffered from severe multiple allergic responses and could only dream of finishing university. After becoming a patient of Breakspear, she graduated from The Open University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Humanities with German and Music on 30 March 2012.
Sarah received her diploma from the Pro-Vice Chancellor in the Barbican in London and received a congratulatory handshake from Annie Lennox, who had received an honorary doctorate.
Patients take centre stage
During business hours at Breakspear on 14-15 March 2012, a film crew were interviewing patients and staff as part of a project to document patient case studies and
the work that Breakspear Medical Group does in the field of environmental medicine. More information on the project will be posted when available.
Successful CQC inspection
The latest CQC inspection indicated
that Breakspear Medical Group was
meeting all the essential standards of
quality and safety. The review was
part of the CQC's routine
schedule of
planned reviews. To carry out the review, a member of the CQC reviews
all the information held at the CQC on
the provider and then visits the
facilities, observing how people are
being cared for, talking to staff and
talking to people who use the services.
